THE CORRIPIO ALONSO FAMILY STRENGTHENS THEIR BOND WITH THEIR ROOTS WITH THE LAUNCH OF THEIR FIRST AWARDS IN VILLAVICIOSA

The Foundation, led by Pepín Corripio and Ana María Alonso—who head a business group employing almost 14,000 people in the Dominican Republic—will present four awards in October at Teatro Riera in Villaviciosa. Each Award carries a prize of €25,000 and will recognise outstanding projects or individuals in the fields of literature, social sciences, entrepreneurship, social welfare and sport.

Alejandro Vega, Mayor of Villaviciosa, highlighted that the Awards will promote “the defence of the values” that lie at the heart of the business group founded by Pepín Corripio: “excellence, effort, hard work, integrity and leading by example.”
